ouR CRaZY LiFe
So we haven't been on in a while. Life has been crazy as it could ever get. I know that the trials of life are to help us learn and become stronger but I am afraid that Wayne and I are becoming geniuses and could not get any stronger. Ahhh. The crazy life of having teenagers. Jen and Chace are down visiting with their aunt Lilly while we help get Chey settled in to her new routine. we really hope that this is the lucky break we have all been searching for. But for now we are still just chugging along on a hope and a prayer. I know that things will get better and He will never give us anything that we could not handle. We just need to have faith and trust in Him. Till next time things slow down for 5 minutes.

UPDaTe oF ouR FaMiLY
So, the last week has been kind of crazy. We have been down in Ogden with Cheyenne. Jen and Chace are in Richfield with thier aunt Lilly. I will miss them so much. They will be gone for 3 weeks. I know that they are having a blast and that they will be home soon but it is so crazy not to have the kids be home. Its just Wayne DJ and I at night and it is kind of strange. Hopefully Cheyenne gets moved a little closer to us. This driving is hard on us and I know it is hard on her not to see us everyday as it is for us not to see her. I just hope that things get better from this point on. today Wayne and I took Deedlebug, as he refersto himself, to the Vernal rec center. We went swimming and the boys went rock climbing. We had a great time but it was kind of bittersweet. I loved spending the time alone with DJ but am really missing the other kids. Well just a little update since I havent blogged lately.

BoWLiNG
Today Wayne was off so we took the kids BoWLiNG!! We had a great time but of course I forgot the camera and my phone was dead so no pics this time. All the kids had a blast. DJ loves bowling and is so cute doing so. Chace had a great time and got the first strike. Jen got several spares and a strike. Cheyenne had some what of a challenging day. First she walked into a mirror on a truck and almost knocked herself out. She was OK though. Then once she started bowling she threw the ball backwards then picked it up and walked to the lane fell down the lane and was so embarrassed she grabbed a ball and bowled again and it hit the guard thing that comes down and sweeps the pins. It happened in all of about 2 mins. It was so funny!! but she is OK and was in good spirits about it. We have changed her name to Cheyenne Clutsine instead of Cheyenne Christene. All in all we had a blast and despite the challenges the kids all did very well. Have a great day!! :P

THe PaRK :p
Tonight we went to the park to play for family night. We had a great time. We love to just get away and be together as a family. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera and the only pics that turned out on my phone were close ups. So the ones of the big kids and Wayne playing ball didn't turn out so well. But DJ has some really cute ones:)

DRiVe iN
We went to the drive in tonight and saw Monsters VS Aliens. It was a way funny show. DJ kept talking about the Dinohorsarahs. That's what he calls dinosaurs, he thought that the little green water guy was a dinosaur. The older kids really liked it too. While we were sitting there DJ asked what time it was out of the blue. We told him and he turns and says Time for me to buy a watch and started laughing. Were not to sure where he picked that up. When he was done laughing he said That was funny huh Wayne and slapped him on the back. The whole car load was laughing so hard. We had a great time.

LeTS Do THiS!!! iT MaKeS SeNSe
I got this in an email and I think it is a great idea!!!!
FREEDOM!!!!!!!! IT ISN'T FREE!!!!!! NEVER WAS!!!!!!, NEVER WILL BE!!!!!! GOD BLESS OUR SOLDIERS AND SAILORS!!!!!!
To hell with what this says, do it all the time!!!!!!!!!!
I WAS BUYING FOOD THE OTHER DAY AT THE COUNTRY MARKET. ON THE LABEL OF SOME PRODUCTS IT SAID FROM CHINA.FOR EXAMPLE THE" OUR FAMILY" BRAND OF THE MANDARIN ORANGES SAYS RIGHT ON THE CAN FROM CHINA I WAS SHOCKED!! SO FOR A FEW MORE CENTS I BOUGHT THE LIBERTY GOLD BRAND OR THE DOLE IS FROM CAL.
TAKES FOREVER JUST TO BUY FOOD AND DO LABEL READING ! !
Are we Americans as dumb as we appear --- or --- is it that we just do not think?
While the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets, the media wrings its hands and criticizes the Bush Administration (now Obama Administration)for perceived errors.
Yet 70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.
Well, duh..why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges?
SIMPLY DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA!!
Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made in China' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without.
Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example, the point is do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.
THINK ABOUT THIS If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor...fast!!
The downside? Some American businesses will feel a temporary pinch from having foreign stockpiles of inventory. Wahhhhhhhhhhhh
The solution? Let's give them fair warning and send our own message. Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on June 4, and continue it until July 4. That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they will at least have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and lawlessness were worth it.
! Remember, June 4 to July 4.
EVEN BETTER. . .. START NOW.
Send this to everybody you know. Let's show them that we are Americans and NOBODY can take us for granted.
If we can't live without cheap Chinese goods for one month out of our lives, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET!!!

So we went to the zoo last week and has a great time. We went with our friends Clint and Angela and their kids Dylan and Jade. The kids loved it. Chey loved the cougars and Jen liked the monkeys, Chace liked the elephants and Dj loves the Rawrs (the bears). We all really enjoyed the train and the carousel. There is something magical about the rides through the zoo :)

We have some exciting news about Chey, she has been selected to go to Washington D.C. to meet the president. Yay!! She has been nominated to by her school. She will be doing a lot of fund raising to go so if you have any ideas let us know. She needs to earn about $2,500 by August!!! Good Luck Chey!!!
Jennifer is also doing really well. She is adjusting to her new school and has made several friends. She is looking forward ti the summer to get to invite some friends from Santaquin up to our new house for a visit.
Chace is himself. He is doing OK at school and is making a few friends. He is really enjoying being able to ride his dirt bike just above our house in the foothills.
DJ misses his Grandpa and Grandma but other than that he is really enjoying playing in our big yard. He keeps saying that he LOVES his new room and is excited about his hideout. (His room has a little corner den thing in it.)
As for Wayne and I we are enjoying the slow pace of things. It has been a long time since we could just relax and not be so busy. We are looking forward to the summer when the kids are out of school so that we can g0 do a lot of family activities. We are really excited to do some river rafting down the Green River. We are also excited to visit all the national parks in our area !!
Wayne is really enjoying his job and loves his bosses. They are such nice people. I am really enjoying our new ward. Its been nice to finally catch up on some well needed R and R. I am taking up scrap booking and am going to do some sewing and quilting as soon as I can find my stuff :) Have a great Summer !!
